Hello friends,
I am Nisarga Vittal. Referred by Dr.Bhargavi, I enrolled to prenatal yoga therapy sessions under Dr. Bijaya Bhattacharya.
Her session is very systematic.
She focused on upper back stretches in initial sessions, followed by gentle exercises of lower part. Later we gradually practiced specific postures for natural birth, ball exercises, relaxation and Pranayama. She teaches us wonderfully how to cope up with labour pain. Visualization of baby is a unique experience.
The systematic practice sessions made me successful in achieving the revered goal of normal delivery. I was able to control anxiety and labour pain following the techniques learnt from Bijaya ma’am.
The most important of all, Bijaya ma’am gave me mental support throughout my pregnancy journey. Beyond the sessions she makes sure we follow the guidelines at home, practice every day, focus on the diet and drinking plenty of water. Her daily reminders, follow up messages made lot of difference.
I have to say to all pregnant women to practice prenatal yoga under proper guidance.
