When I first met Bijaya Bhattacharya her enthusiasm amazed me. I could not help but ask her what the driving force that makes her so active is. She quipped that most of her students and patients experienced the wonder of Yoga. This made her believe that she can do lot more.
I learnt through my association with MayaYoga for last five years how Bijaya goes above and beyond her usual role of a teacher. Her organization strives to provide a supportive and stimulating environment that students love to stay attached to.
MayaYoga has been dedicated in promoting Yoga to different sections of the society. Bijaya Bhattacharya actively assisted in organizing International Yoga Day since 2014. In the year 2016 she joined hands with S-VYASA on hosting events at housing societies and Govt. schools. Her sincere effort was
recognized by department of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
Several of her students elevated themselves to master level in this discipline, some of them joined the league of carrying forward the noble task of sharing knowledge to the mass.
Bijaya Bhattacharya founded MayaYoga with a mission of establishing Yoga as an alternative medicine. Many of her students and patients have got a better life. Her tireless work on spreading the awareness through hosting regular workshops, events and camps has been making a strong impact. She indeed has created an ever growing Yoga community. Her social responsibility has been recognized by several organizations.
Bijaya’s awe-inspiring consistency is more than enough to set her a role model to follow. I am pretty sure that the future generation will imbibe her morale.
Hari Aum!
Yoga is inner bath, it cleanses a gloomy mind. Yoga means union – addition of energy, strength and beauty to body as well as soul.
Bijaya Bhattacharya’s Yoga sadhana, seva and samvardhana has been creating many exalted lives. I pray to Goddess Sri Chamundeshwari to shower her blessings on her and MayaYoga, may her yogic aura embrace many more disheartened.

Yogasana and Pranayama, being a part of Asthanga yoga, is the greatest gift of maharshi Patanjali to the whole mankind. They keep both physical and mental health in perfect condition.
I feel happy that the yoga preceptor Bijaya Bhattacharya is doing a great work through MayaYoga by teaching the ancient yogic exercise to needy people. May holy trio bless you in all your future endeavors.
